Texas holdem
Texas Holdem is by far the most popular form of poker played all over the world, both online and in casinos, Texas Hold’em is the game you’ve most likely seen on TV. Texas Holdem can be played with as few as two players, and with up to ten, ten players in all! The game is well-liked both in the US and abroad because of its fast paced game play and simple rules. A round of Holdem consists of four betting rounds. Each player receives two cards face down (known as hole cards), and five community cards are dealt face-up for all players to use. The player with the highest five-card poker hand at showdown wins the pot. [learn more]

Although formally endorsed by most serious players, the online blackjack (free online blackjack) tips below are held as "common knowledge" by many and represent a solid general strategy that anyone can use. We include them here for your convenience and information. Some of these tips repeat much of the information above. But if you’re looking for a more condensed summary of some of the most commonly accepted and easy to remember strategies, the list below should suffice as a terrific starting point.
- Never split your 10s. (A definite online blackjack no-no.)
- Always split your aces and 8s, no matter what card the dealer is showing.
- Unless you are counting cards, never take insurance (as previously stated; see above).
- You should always stand on a hard 13 through 16, but only if the card the dealer is showing is a 6 or lower. If the dealer’s showing card is a 7 through an ace, you should hit.
- If the dealer is showing a 4, 5 or 6, you should stand on a hard 12.
- If the dealer’s showing a 2, 3, 7 or higher, you should hit a hard 12.
- You should continue to hit until you have at least 17 if the dealer’s up card is a 10.
- You should hit a soft 17 if the dealer’s up card is a 10. [learn more]
Omaha
Omaha hands are played out in a similar fashion as those in Texas Holdem (see rules link at the right). However, instead of two down cards, four are dealt, followed by a betting round. A three card flop follows, with another betting round. Next comes an one card turn card, with a another betting round. Finally a fifth river card, and a final round of betting.
Omaha games are often played High/low split, with and eight-or-better qualifier for low. Players may use two different cards from their hand to make a low, and two different hand cards to make a high, as well as three different board cards to make their high hand and three different ones to make their low hand. The can also use the same three card/two card combination to make both their high and low hands.
Seven card stud
Seven Card Stud is a HIGH card game. More winning hands are decided by the highest pair of two pair or just the highest pair, than by straights, flushes and other big hands. So if you start with a straight or flush draw, it should have at least two high cards or at least one card that is higher than anything up on the board. These draw hands and low pair starting hands need to improve or turn a high pair quickly to justify continued play. Any time your high hand is beaten on the board, fold, unless you think you still have the best draw hand. Fast play early high hands ( that could win without improvement) to thin out the competition. Slow play draw hands to keep other players in to increase the pot odds in case you hit.
Five Card Draw
Five Card Draw is the game many people grew up playing around the kitchen table. In this game, your goal is to make the best five-card hand after one draw. Like hold’em, it’s a game that’s easy to learn, but difficult to master. The game can be played with between two and five players. Betting in Five Card Draw consists of an initial Ante, followed by two rounds of betting.
Caribbean stud poker
A traditional caribbean stud poker casino game. To begin, place your bet. Point on the chip denomination of your choice and drag it to the central box and place it on the Ante. Click to raise the amount, right-click to decrease. The amount wagered appears under your current total credit amount. Once you have decided on the amount you want to wager, press the Deal button. The dealer will deal 5 cards each with his last card open.
Depending what your hand shows and what the dealer’s open card is, you can either bet or fold. The dealer needs to qualify (Ace, King or higher) to pay your ante and the subsequent bet, if your hand is better. If the dealer does not qualify, you win your ante bet only, outright.
